Missiles are great and all, but if all six you carry get shot down even before they reach their intended target, it's time to rethink your ordnance strategy.
Developed as a variant of the Stark Jegan, the Type 2 eschews the twin heavy missile launchers on the initial rollout model for even heavier weaponry. While still retaining its role as an anti-ship combatant, the Type 2 bristles with answers for almost every combat situation and is equipped with a modified backpack that takes design cues from the Delta line of transformable mobile suits, according the Type 2 with higher mobility and agility as compared to its missile-toting predecessor.
The Type 2's main weapon - the radar-assisted long-range cannon - is able to put a heavy round through a mobile suit or capital ship from a phenomenal distance with pinpoint accuracy, and has power equivalent to modern era hyper bazookas but with greater round velocity to tear through armor plating with relative ease.
