The 00 Diver only looks complete with the Diver Ace Pack!

As a HGBC 1/144 add-on set to the HGBD 1/144 Gundam 00 Diver , the Diver Ace Pack gives the Gunpla a more complete look as opposed to the ad-hoc, cobbled-together nature of the 00 Diver.

The Ace variant of the Gundam 00 Diver is essentially achieved with the addition of a custom high mobility backpack, miniaturised GN Drives and more lethal weaponry in the form of the Ace Swords and enhanced GN Sword IIs. The backpack and assorted enhancements increased the 00 Diver's mobility and dexterity while also tripling its damage output, allowing Riku to engage multiple foes simultaneously.

The Ace Swords are definitely the scene-stealers here, massive broadswords that bear a passing resemblance to the blades of the Exia's GN Sword. Despite their size, the Ace Swords can be wielded as though they are no heavier than a beam saber, cutting down waves of lesser NPDs in solid strokes.

The modified GN Swords II give the 00 Diver Ace a more substantial implement in closer range combat. The tip of the new Swords can be shot out like a grappling hook, allowing Riku to ensnare enemy targets and bring them into effective combat range.

The 00 Diver Ace was quite literally Riku's ace-in-the-hole, delivering massive damage to whole swathes of enemies with frightening speed. The Ace Pack also improved Riku's proficiency in DvD combat, allowing him to put up a worthy fight against most adversaries.
