[CUSTOM] Bandai HGUC 1/144 RX-80/L Gundam Type-L (Federal Police Model)

Model Number: RX-80/L
Designation: EFSF Federal Police Force Limited Production High Performance Enforcement Use Mobile Suit

Law enforcement has a new look after the One Year War.
While the RGM-79G[FP] GM Command (Federal Police Model) was an older mobile suit design repurposed for peacetime combat, the RX-80/L Gundam Type-L was a state-of-the-art machine intended for eventual terrestrial warfare.

Deployed to the Federation's fringe colonies under the guise of mechanical testing and data collection, the RX-80/L was really sent to those far-flung regions to gather actual combat data to help advance the Federation's many mobile suit development projects, including the dormant Autonomous Combat Drone programme.

The RX-80/L was typically deployed with a beam rifle that had an underslung shotgun attachment, a single full-length beam saber, head vulcans, a combat shield as well as a new model beam spray gun holstered on its left side skirt.

While these weapons were deadly in their own right, the RX-80/L had a major trump card up its robotic sleeve: the RGD-79FP Type-79 Autonomous Combat Drone (Federal Police Model)

Build Notes
The base kit is the HGBD 1/144 GBN-Base Gundam, a gorgeous model kit in its own right, sans the neon, gloss injection colours. The light bars and the shield were sourced from Kotobukiya's MSG MW41 weapon set, while the beam rifle is from the HGBF 1/144 Leopard Da Vinci.

  1. Trump would love these! Seriously i really like your “pseudo-titans” federal police. Are the guys a prototype of the titans or a separate unit? ALSO WHEN where these deployed in the UC Timeline? I’m guessing this was in 0083 due to the nature of its base model and work?
