The weapon is the best thing in this kit, you cannot change my mind.
A fairly enjoyable build, the First Order Stormtrooper Executioner builds on the solid design of previous Stormtrooper kits to deliver another sharp and poseable iteration of a Star Wars staple. It also doesn't hurt that the price for this particular kit has fallen to S$15, as compared to the S$40 price tag it started with.
The laser axe, as the weapon is named in Star Wars literature, is uniquely designed and effortlessly fearsome. The bundled effect parts, though a little tricky to mount in place, serve to further accentuate its ferocity. The Executioner's laser axe is the definitive equipment here, its construction process being more complicated than the rest of the model kit. While the effect parts are not really is what advertised on the box, they still look great and serve to bring out more dynamism from the Stormtrooper.
The Stormtrooper stands in scale with the rest of its Bandai 1/12 brethren, if not a little short, especially beside the awesome 1/12 Death Trooper.
