The Double X always has an intriguing unconventional design. When the HG kit was released, fans everywhere snapped it up, but gaped at some of the balance issues and design limitations that appeared.
Seemingly to address these while giving fans another reason to cheer, the MG Double X was released to much surprise, and subsequently to much adulation.
Ruzvolution is here once more to share a Kit Insight on this beautiful kit!
Pros - Beautiful, sleek design. Nice set of stickers, not too much nor too little. Great articulation combined with those beautiful solar panels. Normal interchangeable hands. Beautiful beams for the beam swords. Great color separation.
Cons - Weak at the waist area, will bend backwards due to the massive backpack, which is expected. Legs will tend to pop off when trying to do poses. Typical Bandai dull gold. Few words from Ruz----------------------------------For those who grew up loving this gundam and love MGs, this is a MUST HAVE kit. For $65 (Hobby Point Price), this kit is really worth the money. This MG, shows why it's a beast compared to HGs and NG 1/100. A true beauty. One of the few MGs that deserves to be on the shelves of every Gundam/Gunpla lovers.
