[Kit Insight] Bandai Entry Grade 1/144 RX-78-2[US] Gundam [American Type] - Light Build

A gorgeous variant of a fantastic, low-priced model kit!Essentially a recoloured version of Bandai's phenomenally awesome Entry Grade 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam model kit, the American Type appears for a few seconds in the first episode of Gundam Breaker Battlelogue during what seems to be the main antagonist's origin story.

While congruent to the regular release version, the Target-exclusive American Type comes in the colours of the USA and special iconography stickers. The latter work quite well but need some patience to properly line up against the edges of the intended parts.

Build Notes
The Entry Grade will look decent built out of the box but will shine a little more if given some paint. I used Nippon Pylox Haier Grey to break up some of the white, Mr. DIY Sparkling Black for the frame sections, Mr. DIY Gold for the joints, Mr. DIY Flat Black for the beam rifle as well as Mr. DIY Grey for the beam rifle's sighting optic. Everything else remained stock, save for a layer of Mr. Hobby Flat Topcoat (UV Cut).
