[CUSTOM] Bandai HGUC 1/144 RMG-79[G] (Mobilesuit Urban Survival Kit Equipped) (Customised Build)

Every now and then, I get a wild but very doable idea for a Gunpla custom, and this time, it is a GM Ground Type retrofitted for urban combat. Inspired by the real-world TUSK (Tank Urban Survival Kit) that the US Army used for the venerable M1 Abrams in the Middle East, the MUSK Equipped GM Ground Type serves the same purpose: as the spearhead in a push for urban centers.

[Gallery] Bandai HGIBO 1/144 ASW-G-01 Gundam Bael (Calamity War Rollout Ver. - Agnika Kaieru Use) with Ulfbert Claymore

As certain engagements required heavier weaponry than a pair of swords, Agnika Kaieru would sometimes lift the massive Ulfbert Claymore from its ceremonial docking at Vingolf, Gjallarhorn's headquarters on Earth, and use the weapon to bring down contingents of Mobile Armors and Mobile Workers by himself.

Such arrogance.

[Custom] Bandai HGIBO 1/144 Gundam Astaroth Origin [Outer Earth Regulatory Fleet Ver.]

Basically the closest IBO-universe analog of the Titans (in the eyes of the commoner at least), the Gjallarhorn Outer Earth Regulatory Fleet relied on its overwhelming military superiority to quell dissent and maintain law and order. With a huge stable of Halfbeak-class warships and their assigned squadrons of Graze mobile suits, the OERT reserved a trump card for more dire engagements.

A Gundam Frame.

[Custom] Bandai HGIBO 1/144 ASW-G-66 Gundam Kimaris Vidar (Ver. GPN)

Gundam Kimaris was a pretty swell Gundam Frame of its own, with its distinctive knightly visage, purple-themed colour scheme and preference for large, powerful lances. The Kimaris Vidar pulls out all the stops to create one of the best looking Gundam Frames in the series, with an ornate mohawk cresting its head, no less.

[Custom] Bandai HGIBO 1/144 EBx-08v Reginlaze Viola (Tactical Demonstrator)

At the end of the final battle of the McGillis Fareed Incident, a modified Reginlaze Julia raised the Barbatos' severed head in victory, signalling the cessation of hostilities and the beginning of a rocky road to an uneasy peace. The final frame of the Reginlaze Julia is pretty significant as it embodies a legend retold countless times throughout the annals of history: the Devil can only be slain by Man, although in Julieta's case, this came at a very, very high cost.

[METAL BUILD] Bandai Tamashii Nations Metal Build 1/100 F91 Gundam F91

The Formula Project Gundam F91 can be considered one of the most enduring masterpieces that stemmed from a Gundam series. It boasted a sleek, unique design that is complemented by a rich story that gave birth to another longstanding Gundam classic (Crossbone), securing the F91's place in the annals of Gundam history. Therefore, it comes to no surprise that a Metal Build version of the venerable mobile suit would prove immensely popular.

And it is.

[Kit Insight] Bandai HGUC 1/144 RX-78AL Atlas Gundam (Straight Build)

The Atlas is weird, but in a good way.

[Custom] Bandai HGIBO 1/144 UGY-R41 Landman Rodi (Jungle Environment Use)

The regular Man Rodi looked odd and fairly disposable, well fulfilling its role as a grunt suit. The Landman Rodi however, gave off a more mid-tier vibe: it's still a grunt but you ain't getting rid of it that easily.

[Custom] Bandai HGIBO 1/144 ASW-G-01 Gundam Bael (Calamity War Rollout Ver. - Agnika Kaieru Use)

The Bael was teased since season one, and even then it only showed up when the second season was past the mid-range marker. As the deus ex machina of the series of events now termed as the McGillis Fareed Incident, Bael was meant to be a trump card, meant to be the one thing that will allow McGillis full control of Gjallarhorn.

Funny how that turned out.
